After completing Bursary level Art I achieved a certificate in Drawing & Perspective from the Winchester School of Art. From there I channelled my creativity into theatre set design & painting, also becoming a founding member of the Foxton Murals committee. Being an active member of Foxton Camera Club led me to winning Champion Image of the year. In 2002 I was a finalist in the Telecom Art awards.

2003 I gained a Diploma in Art & creativity from The Learning Connexion. Upon graduation I found gallery representation and have taken part in many exhibitions around New Zealand. My paintings are now in collections in Australia, England, USA & Italy as well as here in New Zealand. 

2005 I joined the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts.
Contributed to four collaborative works with the NZ Art Guild that raised funds for The Mental Health Foundation.

2010 I secured a contract with a United States Jewellery company 'Bajidoo' where four of my paintings were to be used as inspiration for designs on Bangles.

I painted the Foxton War Memorial Hall for Fiona Jacks Living Halls project, this exhibition opened at The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery in New Plymouth then continued to tour galleries around New Zealand.


In May 2010 I exhibited in Italy, 'Legato' was an exhibition promoting Peace through Remembrance. On return from Italy I produced a body of work called Everything Italian this work I exhibited the following year in Solo 31 March through to April at The New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts. 


In October I won two first places in the Paraparaumu Rotary Art Show for my Townscape and Still life. 2012 two paintings made the finalists in the Peters Doig art awards   More recently one of my paintings has been selected for the 2013 New Zealand Arts calendar.

2014 I opened my studio to the public having created a Gallery space to show my work. Studio 202 is located in 202 Cambridge Street, Levin. Visitors welcome.
